Joseph A. Piscitell

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, DAMG Worldwide

Mr. Piscitell is the founder, President and CEO of DAMG Worldwide, a holding company, that provides principal investment and financial advisory services for transportation and social infrastructure projects. His 20 + years experience in the aviation industry include substantial experience in aircraft lease finance, project financing, and aviation strategic planning for consulting firms. Mr. Piscitell has served as an advisor and an investor in a number of aviation-related transactions, both domestic and worldwide. DAMG Worldwide is the result of Mr. Piscitell's vision to combine the financial and real estate aspects of transportation infrastructure development with design and construction, under a single corporate umbrella.

Prior to founding DAMG, Mr. Piscitell was President of Starwood Aviation Group, LLC (a unit of Starwood Capital Group, LLC). In that capacity, he was responsible for all airport development projects across a broad array of asset classes including hotels, air cargo facilities and parking garages. Before Starwood, he was President of an equipment leasing company, specializing in leveraged leasing of aircraft, telecommunications, and computer systems.

Mr. Piscitell was also a partner in a regional accounting firm where he spearheaded their corporate finance practice, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, and project finance. Mr. Piscitell started his career in the audit practice of KPMG. Mr. Piscitell, a Certified Public Accountant, has an extensive background in international business with significant overseas experience. He graduated cum laude from Iona College with a BBA in Accounting.

Nicholas Geoghegan

Principal, BlueHaven Capital Partners, DAMG/BlueHaven Joint Venture

Nicholas’ career in banking and finance spans 30+ years. He joined Morgan Grenfell in the 1980’s working in both project finance and capital markets, before moving to Deutsche Bank to build and expand its private placement activities. There, his team executed over $10 billion of funding for corporate, financial and sovereign entities.

In 1995 he moved to ABN AMRO and developed its debt placement business into one of the most respected teams in the market. In 2000, he joined Bear Stearns, eventually becoming Head of Debt Capital Markets in London.

Currently, he is Managing Director of BlueHaven Capital Partners, a group he formed with Nick Burnell, also formerly of Morgan Grenfell. BlueHaven was established in order to provide bespoke advice and capital raising services to established businesses with proven management teams.

He was educated at the Oratory School and holds a BSc in economics from the City University, London.

Samuel J. Kahn

Member, DAMG Advisory Board; Chairman, DAMG Student Housing Partners

Samuel J. "Sandy" Kahn is Chairman and CEO of Kent Holdings and Affiliates, a diverse real estate development and investment firm. Headquartered in San Diego, California, his group of companies which were established more than 75 years ago by Mr. Kahn's grandfather and father, have developed nearly 25% of the developable land in the city of San Diego as well as many other communities and assets throughout California and Nevada.

Mr. Kahn, having been invited to testify before The Congress of The United States, is a noted authority on development issues germane to public-private partnerships.

Mr. Kahn has been a member of or Chaired numerous regional and national civic and philanthropic foundations and commissions including The Criminal Justice Legal Foundation, the Biege Book Committee of the 11th District of The Federal Reserve Board and The Governor of California's Advisory Commission on Homeland Security. Mr. Kahn is Chairman Émeritus and Of Counsel to The Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Mr. Kahn received his undergraduate, graduate and legal education at the University of San Diego. Mr. Kahn also holds a Doctorate of Laws (S.JD.) from The Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

J.E. Murdock

Member, DAMG Advisory Board

Mr. Murdock recently served as senior vice president and administrative and general counsel for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), and was corporate secretary to the NBAA Board of Directors. Prior to joining NBAA, Mr. Murdock was a partner in the aviation division of law firm Shaw Pittman, and specialized in technical Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, airworthiness issues, air traffic regulations, contentious airport matters, routine airline concerns, and legislative and regulatory advocacy. From there, he became general counsel at United Airlines.

Mr. Murdock was chief legal counsel to the FAA under the Reagan Administration. During his last year at the FAA, Mr. Murdock assumed the active roll of deputy administrator. Mr. Murdock was also a member of the Bush-Cheney transition team of advisors on transportation policy, where he aided the secretary of transportation and FAA administrator in several of their key appointments.

Patrick Healy

Patrick J. Healy brings 43 years of financial experience to DAMG. Under Pat’s leadership,  Quinnipiac University maintained a balanced budget during his entire tenure. He planned for and oversaw the construction and financing of scores of buildings, starting with the Buckman Center (1979) and the student residences called The Complex (1981) and culminating in the development and opening of the new medical and law centers on the North Haven campus.

Pat’s strategic initiatives have far-reaching consequences. Under his leadership Quinnipiac more than doubled the size of the Mount Carmel campus and added two new campuses, York Hill and North Haven. He was responsible for acquiring the land for York Hill, purchasing three separate pieces in order to develop the striking campus that is now home to the TD Bank Sports Center, the Rocky Top Student Center and residence halls for 1,500 upper-class students. He played a similar role in the development of Quinnipiac’s School of Medicine.

Pat, who is a graduate of the university, was also responsible for the “beautification project” which made Quinnipiac’s campus the pastoral setting it is today.

David Gold

Senior Advisor, DAMG Worldwide

With more than 30 years of institutional experience owning, financing and investing in domestic and international commercial real estate, David Gold has built expertise across property types and functional disciplines.

Mr. Gold was Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Communities, one of the nation’s largest owners of manufactured housing communities, until July 2019. He led the successful growth of the company through its sale to funds managed by Apollo Global Management.

Prior to joining Inspire Communities in 2015, Mr. Gold founded and was president of a multi-family office real estate investment and operating company. The firm invested in and/or owned and operated more than 2,000 dwelling units in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

From 1997 to 2011 Mr. Gold was a Managing Director at the private equity firm, Paladin Realty Partners. Mr. Gold invested across property types and primarily in California until 2006 when Mr. Gold helped spearhead Paladin Realty’s Latin American investments. His portfolio had an aggregate value (including third-party capital) of more than $2.0 billion.

Before joining Paladin Realty, Mr. Gold was Senior Development Manager at Obayashi Corporation, one of the world’s largest contractors.

From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Gold was an Associate and then Vice President in real estate investment banking at Salomon Brothers. He executed transactions with a combined value of $2.7 billion, including public offerings. He also moved from New York to help open the firm’s West Coast real estate office. Mr. Gold began his career in mergers and acquisitions and real estate investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Company.

Mr. Gold served on the Board of Directors of Viver, SA, a Brazilian publicly-traded homebuilder and currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Mosaic Real Estate Investors. He currently provides strategic consulting and real estate investment banking services through affiliations with DAMG LLC and HAI Advisors Inc. as well as St. Bernard Partners. Current engagements exceed $500 million in value.

He was graduated from Brown University and Harvard Business School.

A. Erich Aragon

Principal, DAMG Student Housing Partners

A. Erich Aragon‘s professional twenty-seven year career in domestic and international real estate development has brought him to the forefront as a leader in the industry. As a business executive in Mueller Enterprises, Mr. Aragon conducted all business activities in the United States and abroad concerning Real Estate Asset Management and Development, Finance and Acquisitions, Market and Feasibility Studies, and contract negotiations.

In addition to operating a multi-million dollar international family business in Mexico, Erich became the driving force in all aspects of commercial and apartment development, student housing, construction, management and finance for more than 200 living units in the College Community Redevelopment Project.

Courtney Glickman

Vice President Sales & Marketing, DAMG Lighting

Before joining DAMG, Courtney Glickman, Esq. was the head of the Estate Planning Division for Alternative Divorce Solutions, a boutique family law practice in Newport Beach, CA. She oversaw the entire department and helped many families in transition ease future uncertainties and plan for the unexpected.

Ms. Glickman was a law clerk at Steinbrecher & Span in Los Angeles, a civil litigation firm that specializes in Aviation law and regulation. She also has extensive experience in marketing and social media, after working at companies such as PMK/HBH Public relations and Trends West Publication.

Ms. Glickman has a BA in Philosophy from Tulane University in New Orleans. She attended FIDM shortly thereafter where she received her degree in marketing, after which is attended Whittier Law School where is obtained her J.D. She is a member of the California State Bar Trusts and Estate Section as well as the American Bar Association, and Beverly Hills Bar Association.

Justin Piscitell

Mr. Piscitell is a widely recruited and active member of the racing community. In 2008, Justin won the Mazda Speed Shoot-out, and was named rookie of the year in the 2009 Mazda Speed Playboy MX-5 series. He has placed 3rd or higher in all major racing events since 2008, and finished third and second in the Mazda MX-5 series over the past two years.

Mr. Piscitell received an Associates Degree in Motorsports Technology from SUNY Alfred State.

Cathleen Crowley

Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer, DAMG Worldwide

Before joining DAMG, Ms. Crowley was Executive Vice President of CIT Commercial Real Estate Group. She managed a team that provided direct financing to commercial real estate property owners and equity joint venture to operating partners. The commercial real estate investments spanned the spectrum of collateral types including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, hotel and single tenant corporate properties. She has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry.

Prior to her work in commercial real estate, Ms. Crowley was Chief Risk Officer for CIT Healthcare where she was responsible for the team executing the underwriting and portfolio activities for leverage finance, real estate, equipment finance and asset-based lending investments. Before joining CIT, she was a managing director of sale leaseback's originating equity investment, senior vice president of quality, a multinational risk manager overseeing debt and equity investments, and an asset manager responsible for restructures and sales.

Ms. Crowley has a BA in Government from Georgetown University. She is an active committee member for Star Lighting The Way in Norwalk, CT, and for the Norwalk Hospital Foundation.
